It is sad that the dog's owner can't take the time to play with him. It is funny to watch the dog know what to do with the machine and such however.
If the owner had the time (and money) to build a machine like this for his dog I am sure he has plenty of time to spend with his dog. I bet he made this because he loves his dog so much that he wanted to give his dog a present that the dog would enjoy when he (the owner) is not home.
